Melbourne-based psychedelic pop group Murmurmur have spent the summer gaining traction in Australia after their debut (‘Cable Car’) was picked up by Triple J, and now they’re moving their success to the UK after 10 years honing their sound. ‘Marmalade’ is taken from their upcoming EP and combines infectious pop hooks with jangly, bright guitar sounds and bouncy synths. Frontman William Fletcher’s hazy vocal performance is a “tongue-in-cheek take on the exuberant highs and wallowing lows of romantic relationships” with the trippy, animated video complimenting the music it supports.
